There is special advertising for coffee and cake. I was there today precisely because of the cakes and cupcakes. Unfortunately the selection consisted only of cheesecake, apple pie and meringue cake. I took the cheesecake - not a good idea! It tasted exactly like frozen food, instead of homemade, at best, thawed it yourself. Pity!

After a new boss moved in in 2019, the house really blossomed. Best food, events, friendliness, hospitality - always a recommendation !!

Were here the first time after years back there - to the Advent market, a wonderfully friendly woman from the boss encountered, who also produces upcycling stuff, the dining room shines in fresh splendor, and the homemade Wilbratwurst was delicious, we will definitely eat there more often in the future ,

The best food and staff there is always a worthwhile drive

Pleasant ambience. Stay alone, as a couple or in groups. Pre-booking is essential, as partially booked over weeks. We have always felt very comfortable as a group of 10 - 20 people. ProMa, Dec. 2017

Unfortunately, I can not give any judgment about the food since we walked there on a Monday (rest day). We then wanted to rest a little and take a short rest and sat outside on the chairs. After a short time, a lady from the CLOSED Schloss Hotel came to us and asked us to leave the area and sit down somewhere else. Hikers who wanted to take a short break after exhausting kilometers !! On a rest day of the castle hotel !! I am ashamed of such a rudeness - which is not ansatzweise understandable!), And ashamed also strange for this elderly lady who hopefully is not representative of the Oberbergische hospitality. A star still seems too much .....

Very nicely located hotel, a good stop for a motorbike tour as we did. Good cakes, very friendly service.

The nature is very close, can good food and hiking. As a destination for a hike ideal!

The cake is good and the food looks delicious, but the service? Complete chaos, get the organization under control. Waited over 30 minutes yesterday, not serviced - though the store was not overly crowded. Something similar has happened to me here but often. Are then upset and hungry again away and looking for a more hospitable competition.
